A few weeks ago, Amanda Merriam, VP of Curves, and I had the chance to spend time meeting with the next generation of fitness enthusiasts at TexFit United 2020. TexFit is a full fitness conference and expo held at The University of Texas at Arlington for collegiate programs across the state of Texas and surrounding states.
The Future of Fitness Is Bright
It was exciting to meet so many young women and men passionate about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise. Their energy and enthusiasm was positively contagious. I am encouraged thinking about what this generation will innovate to help improve and strengthen bodies and educate minds about fitness.
The future of fitness truly is BRIGHT in the hands of these young people.
The Curves Opportunity
Amanda and I were able to introduce the Curves business opportunity to many of the attendees as well. As a business model, Curves meets a lot of the business ownership needs that were communicated – fitness focused, on-going training and support, a well-known brand. And there needed to be some fun involved, too. CHECK!
Dance Demo Competition
One of the highlights of the day was judging the Dance Demo competition. These teams were excellent and made our jobs hard. But we had a great time watching them. We may have even picked up a few moves that you might see in some upcoming classes!
